Tropical Sprout Smoothie

Serves 2 (serving size: 1 cup) 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup salad mix sprouts, loosely packed
  • ¾ cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or preferred milk)
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp agave syrup (optional)
  • ½ tsp fresh ginger (optional)
  • ½ medium banana, frozen

Directions

  1. Combine ingredients in a blender.
  2. Blend on high until smooth and creamy, adding more milk if the consistency is too thick.
  3. Divide the mixture into two glasses; serve immediately.
